12. TPF-5(253) Girders

Structure Type: High-strength bolted built-up plate girder
 
This girder was used in the experiential after-fracture fatigue and strength testing of built-up plate girders as part of pooled fund project TPF-5(253).  It is an excellent example of built-up member construction where high-strength bolts are used.
